[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This post I want to dedicate to Zeno and well for the following reasons,I know that he is fond on bird photography and especially likes crested tits, the 2nd reason that with seeing his latest postings and some information of him,I as well decided to purchase a small portable hide, yesterday afternoon I had a chance to try it out on my bird feeding place in the forest,I soon discovered that the hide gave better photo opportunities then without one, although the light was not on its best I am surprised of the quality of this capture @ISO 800,f2.8,1/30 s,as well I was able to make some nice captures of the male great spotted woodpecker,soI know that the hide had its benefits as with my previous visits I never had the chance to capture this fellow,as although I saw him regularly he always stayed up high in the trees,

Anyway hope you like it and hope to post more new uploads from my new hide.

Hello Paul,
Very well written dedication and this is a really fine capture. The perch is good leaning forward with all the details and plumage very well written all over the picture. Excellent management of light and depth keeping away the busyness of the surroundings. I like it and I hope you won't mind me adding this to my theme.

Best regards,

Hej Paul,
I bet Ivan will now be off to get one of these hides too! It looks really good and you managed to get a lovely shot of the Crested Tit! They're not easy to catch as they are constantly flitting around. I like its pose here and it stands out nicely from the soft background. Fine details and natural colours too.
TFS and cheers, Ulla

Hello Paul,
very good shot, nice composition and pov, good sharpness and depth of filed, beautiful colors and good details.

Hi Paul,
a very nice picture of "Punkarn" as Micke and I call it.
Well composed with fine details and nice colours.
The small hide looks quite handy and I'm sure you will be pleased with it.
Well done.

Hi Paul,
A nice capture of this beautiful bird. Very well composed with excellent details even at 1/30 secs I think the steadyness is because of SS. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Great image of the crested Tit. Hides are great - and it's a good idea to have. Well done!
Cheers, Klaus

Hello Paul,

Nice photo of the tit. Despite the low light condition you mentioned and high ISO photo is very nice having natural colors and fine details of bird. Thank you for shearing information regarding the portable hide.

Best regards,

Hi Paul

Hi Paul

Excellent detail and outstanding pose - not much more I can add.

Hello Paul
This is a lovely shot of the Crested Tit...What a fantastic bird he is...I like your note about a portable hide...I have been looking at these myself upon a reccomendation of a friend (who unfortunately is a hunter rather than a photographer..aminly pigeons and deer)...who has had very close encounters with birds badgers etc..Its great to see that you have found one useful...I shall be buying one forthwith!!....Excellent photo of a bird I would love to see let alone photograph!!

Hi Paul,

an exellent photo of this little bird. I never saw it in my area, only in photos. Details are great and the light from the eyes looking to the camera, is beautiful.
