I went for a stroll today to get my mind off the studies. In early spring Dandelions are aplenty here. In sweden they are commonly known as "Maskros" which litteraly translates to Wormrose. :)
With this photo I played around a bit and used tonemapping. I hope thats allowed here on TN. If not, let me know. Afterwards I cropped off some parts of the flower, hope you like it.
The common name Dandelion is given to members of the genus Taraxacum, a large genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae. In the Asteraceae (formerly Compositae) the 'flowers' are morphologically a composite flower head consisting of many tiny flowers called florets. Dandelions are native to Africa, Asia and Europe, and have been widely introduced elsewhere. Many Taraxacum species produce seeds asexually (apomixis), so that seeds can be produced without pollination that are genetically identical to the parent plant. |

really donīt know if what you did itīs allowed, but looks good.
Good POV, very original, seems like a sun or something like that. Good colours and focus. Nice idea to blur de BG. I like how you have used the light.
As far I know, in my country, some people eat this flowers in salads.
