Lovely almost monochromatic shot with tons of detail taken under pleasant soft light Ivan. Good day! I am very impressed with the beautiful earthy colors in this frame. While I am in home and have free minutes (in an hour I go for a business trip) I wish to comment your amazing picture. I love the subject so much. Cute bird is looked on the attractive plant amazingly. Light brownish colour palette is also very nice and combination of sharpness (of a man subject) and blurriness of the natural BG is superb. Bravo. Perfect job. Picture is very pleasant for look and taken with great taste and skill.

Although you've cropped heavily, this is still a superb capture with high quality MF! The details and colors of its plumage are nicely captured. I like the catchlight in its eye too. There is nice separation from the blurred background and exposure looks perfect.

Great shot of vinterhämpling, nice monochromatic tones and in spite of the heavy crop OK sharpness. Nice pose and DoF, too. A pleasant image to look at with many details. Congrats and tfs.

Anyway, Hungarian name of this species is also connected with winter. This species is a rare winter visitor in our country.

this is very beautiful lady of Vinterhämpling or Yellow Beak. Firstly I saw this species in winter period two year ago. But not far away. Its flocks in our university campus. after that I saw them in high plateaus of Estern Black Sea and the Taurus in last summer.
you greatly captured it on similar colored dry herb, with great sharp details and exposure. light using, coloration and POV/DOF superb. nicely composed and notes with good information as always.
