[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Red currant (or Vinbär in Swedish which can be literally translated as Wineberry) is a kind of berries in smooth translucent red colour. They taste sweet and juicy and is good as remedy for fever.

These berries I shot are found growing wild, but not as commonly sighted as Snowberries (Snöbär), Blueberries (Blåbär), Raspberries (Hallon) etc.! In Sweden, you can find lots of wild berries (bär)and wild mushrooms (svampar). If you know your botanics, you can munch direct from the nature as you trek and have no preservatives and insecticides in your tummy ¤wink¤

Facts: Picture is taken in a village named Rävsnäs, near to the main harbour village Kapellskär (with Viking Line ferries to Åland and Finland) in the region largely known as Roslagen.
