Thanks for all the nice words and nice comments on my previous image.

This is a pretty rare butterfly but locally it can show up in big numbers, as in our famous road,
Fjärilsvägen (Butterfly Road) just outside my home-town Gävle.
Don’t twist your monitors, I found it this way. :-)
I hope you like this small beauty.

Some info about this blue.

The wingspan ranges from 27 to 36 millimetres, and in different individuals.Green-underside blue male is blue on top and gray underneath. The female has a broad brown border around the blue wings on the top and underside is light gray. The larva is green and up to 15 millimetres long. This butterfly occurs on drier meadows and mountain slopes.
Green-underside Blue range is in Europe and on through Central Asia to Mongolia and northern China. The prevalence in Europe is in much of Europe except the Netherlands, British Isles, Iceland, northern Russia, Sardinia, Cyprus and some other smaller areas.

Hello Gert,
How nice to see a new photo from you. And a very pretty one.
Superb sharpness, details, DOF and composition. Splendid colours, also in the blurred background. A beauty!

Hi Gert.
First my congratulations on new camera. I am very interested for your opinion about electronic viewfinder and ISO performance at bird and macro shooting. You have used DOF precisely. I do not remember when I pictured close-up at so wide aperture :). Superb details, nice colours (we as usual have strong sunlight this period) and brilliant composition. Warm regards and TFS.

Great focus, and good colors. I am surprised the butterfly let you get so close to make this portrait. My neck is stretched now, thx!

Ciao Gert, my today neighbour, great macro of lovely òlittle buitterfly, fine details, excellent sharpness, splendid light and wonderful colors, very well done, my friend, have a good Sunday, ciao Silvio

Hello Gert,
nice to see a picture from you. The small blue is shown very sharp and well
exposed on an attractively composed picture.
Have a nice Sunday! Best wishes,

Hello Gert! How are you?
Nice to see a new photo from you.
Fantastic photo as usually!! The composition, the BG, the colours and the sharpness are excellent!

A truly professional macro capture of this Blue, Gert.
It is a privilege to see your occasional picture here on TN.
Hope you are keeping well.

Full basket of points here ;) and I am jealous obviously! Good day my old friend Gert Ellstrom ..glad to see you around ...George is still here too :)
Wonderful capture of this tiny creature with effective depth of field and simplicity. A seven sense suggest that we have a bit to heavy cropp in this frame if I need to be honest as ever.... other than that ... what a beauty!

Hello Gert,
A perfect photo taken from a very low POV. The details and colors of this lovely little butterfly species are fantastic. I like the contrast against the green blurry background. The wings are excellent shown. Very good WB and perfect sharp details.
Thanks for sharing!

Hej Gert,
Fjärilsvägen har visst många skatter!

A very fine macro of a Klöverblåvinge in the closed wing pose. The details are well seen with top sharpness and fine natural colours against a clean natural BG. I like the composition on the Campanula flower bud too.
En fröjd för ögat!
Thanks and enjoy your weekend mf.

Sweet shot Gert. Very good details, colors, and lighting.. Nice BG too.
When I look back & think of the people I got to know at TN, U R always the first one I think of.
Be well old friend!

hej Gert
what a beautiful butterfly and its great close-up from lateral POV. Razor sharp details, exposure, DOF and colors also great. Blurry BG also very nice. Thanks for sharing.
Have a nice evening, my friend.

Hello Gert,
Thanks for your kind critique on one of my last pictures. I was looking at your gallery and found this marvellous butterfly-picture I had missed.
This is really a most beautiful shot, the fine sparkling blue on the underside-wings is perfectly shown, the green backgroung ideal as contrast to the light-wings. Perfect sharpness as usual too.
Bravo again!
Kind regards
