What hardships this cute little bird must have faced to survive, Ivan! Physical disabilities of wild creatures make me feel sad and concerned about them.
Except for a few negligible pinpoints of distortion in the BG, the image is very appealing. The bird seems to be reconciled to its fate, yet the sense of loneliness is unmistakable in its posture.

But I rather like him this way..it adds alot of character to the shot ;}
As to the leg. Well I suppose it's possible. A uniform BG is required, and you have it here. In this particular case, I would advise against a transplant though. A subscription for crutches, and physical therapy to strengthen the remaining limb will have to suffice :)
