Excellent diver (can stay 3 minutes under water) , the Crested Grebe is the biggest grebe. Relatively common on the Swiss lakes.

Hello Bertrand,

My favourite bird - I taking lots of pictures of Great Crested Grebes at the moment. I really like you picture - the pov is excellent and the detail is superb. You have also captured th Grebe in an interesting position. I did feel that he was a little lost in the image and that the colours could be a little more vivid. I have edited a copy in workshop to show you what I mean, but you may well prefer your own version. Very good image and I wish I'd taken it. tfs

Mike
