Ar first Thanks a lot for your kind words on my 1000th shot. I appreciated very much.

I'm not a specialist of birds and I'm not sure about the Id of these two gulls.
I suggest: a couple of Larus ridibundus.
One of many gulls seen on the Lake of Zurich.

Thanks a lot to Peter for the confirmation of the species. These gulls are an adult and a juvenile Black-headed Gull.

Hello Anne,
Indeed, two Black-headed Gulls, an adult and a juvenile. Excellent sharp detailed photo both with eye contact. Beautiful natural colours. Very well composed.

HI Anne, Nice composition with great light. The diagonal position give elegant look to the composition. Great details with good sharpness along with natural colours. I like the one with black colour plumages on its head. Thank for sharing

Salut Anne,je suis pas un expert moi aussi mais je les connais tres bien,ils sont tres nombreux dans mon fleuve Ticino.Une excellente capture,ils sont pas trop amicals chez moi et il faut bien travailler avec le zoom pour les capturer,une photo parfaicte et une composition originale.Belle soiree' et merci,Luciano

1001: Tausend und eine Fotografie - mehr noch als die Zahl tausend der Poesie verflichtet. Das Duo zweier Schwarzkopf-Möwen frisch vom Ufer des Zürichsees hast Du originell und ganz vorzüglich komponiert ins Bild gesetzt: Das linke Tier nimmt wachsam, leicht besorgt und ein wenig fragend Blickkontakt mit uns Betrachtern auf, während der offenbar noch jugendliche zweite Vogel verträumt den Blick in weite Ferne richtet. Wunderbar verhaltenes Licht, das für beste plastische Widergabe sorgt. Vornehme Nuancen des Grau neben subtilen ungesättigten Buntfarben, vom Feinsten.
