[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Phoenicurus ochruros or Black Redstart (german: Hausrotschwanz) is a common resident in our region. This female nested just above our door to the garden. She raised 5 young this year.

The black redstart is socially monogamous. A male pairs with a female to rear young, guards her against other males, and mates with other females.[8]

There was not much light so the ISO rating is quite high (4000) which explains the grainy pic.

Hello Pierre,
Very difficult shoot and a rare capture. This is a very nice specie of migratory birds coming every summer also in my region.
Marius.

Hello Pierre,
You are lucky to have some friends in your garden. Well captured this happy family even in such low light which you mentioned in your NOTE. Well sharpness and natural color. Just the hind portion of Mother.....
Thanks for sharing,
Regards and have a nice WE ,
Srikumar

Bonjour Pierre,
