Hello Peter
good hand of lights and shadows between the butterfly and the flower. It is still appraised more for the optimal neutral background.
Fine details and contrast

Hello Peter,
A fine capture of a male L. virgaureae that is totally sharp and iridesces in great ambient light. I like the half frontal POV and the composition on the compodite flower is pleasing.
Interesting to see this alpine ssp has broader black wing borders that ours in Sweden,
Thanks for sharing this beauty,
Have a good weekend,
Ivan

Hi Peter
First class shot of this pretty butterfly. Wonderful light, and you can make out the iridescent, purple edge on the forewing. Great focus and DOF.
Kind Regards
Vinny

A fine looking b.fly with the body of a moth in beautiful colours Peter, the frontodorsal viewpoint perfectly shows the feeding individual. TFS this.

Lieber Peter,
Anne
