Hi Peter,

What a good photo showing very well the structure of the wings. You have used very well the existing light rendering in a good manner the white surface of the wings. Texture can be seen in great detaisl and the transpareency of the back wing creates a great effect.

Thank you for sharing,
Cristian

Hello Peter!
Nice to see your new picture on TN (especially for someone like me who had rather longer break with this web site :>). I like simply but very good composition, and very nice sharpness/DOF. The species is not very rare, and even not very colourful, but it is still very nice presented (anyway, who cares about colours if the quality of image is very good? :>). Bravo also for informative note - as always I found something intersting to read :)
Best regards from Lodz!
Friendly yours,
Radomir

Hi Peter
I wish we still had this exquisite butterfly in the UK! :(
A very good shot, especially as it is hand held at 1/50. Clear details, nice and sharp and the flower compliments the butterfly perfectly. TFS.
Kind Regards
Vinny

Another great shot of this interesting butterfly. Perfect detail - every hair and vein is very well visible and sharp. Great composition with white flower. Very fragile looking insect.

Lieber Peter,

Dieter
