Bravo, my dear friend. Amazing picture with great lovely colours and pleasant soft lighting. Pictured scene is wonderful as well as the magnification ratio, cropping and composition. Reproduction of the texture and other details of this beautiful butterfly is outstanding. DOF is selected perfectly. Nice flower, blurred a bit, looks perfectly too. My congratulations and TFS. An oustanding image!
I'm really impressed with the hifh quality of this picture, the sharpness and clear deatails are remarkable.
Perhaps is not the most contrasting image, but the subtle colours of this butterfly have a serene beauty.
Excellent the DOF choice and the nicely blurred petals of the flower.

This butterfly is maybe Pontia daplidice(but I don't know it on 100%).

Though I am no authority on butterflies, doesn't it look like an Orange Tip, Anne? I say so because I have seen some on TN recently, especially the one posted by Ivan in which he has shown 3 of them together.
Nevertheless, it is a wonderful capture. The POV is just right and the focus is spot on with fine details on the face and the wings.

encore une très belle macro avec de vives couleurs. La netteté est vraiment bonne. Je trouve juste le POV un peu bas, ce qui masque les pattes. Bien joué quand même.

Pas simple pour l'ID, je pense aussi à un Aurore qui est courant dans nos Alpes, pour être sûr faudrait voir tout des ailes...
En tout cas il est beau et paisible dans son Pissenlit ! La composition me régale. Exposition, netteté et PdC sont extras.

Je dois dire que ces temps, je n'ai guère rencontré de papillons qui soient assez sympa pour s'arrêter sur une fleur et se laisser photographier ! Celui-ci a des ailes originales.

I missed your fine capture of this rarity. I have never seen the Mountain dappled White myself but this shot is a fine compensation, sharp and rich in detail, set in a fine composition on a yellow composite flower that also looks special. Fine BG.
Though the hindwing is damaged this is a very fine presentation.

Amazing detail and razor sharp focus. Exposure is perfect. I really like the composition, the way the flower framed the butterfly and brings out the yellow in the wing.
