yoou have captured a beautiful butterfly.
IMO you could cut some space to left just behind the straw
for a better compostion, Nice colours and POV.
The DOF is also good, the butterfly stands out well.

Hi Anne.
I like bright rich colours of your wonderful shot. Its subject is so cute and butterfly with bud is reproduced perfectly. DOF is great, as a result, sharpness of entire image of the butterfly is amazing. May be only shadow under the left wing is deep a bit. My best wishes and TFS. Well job.

Hello Anne,
This shot of a male Small copper looks so sharp that I wonder if you could have cropped it closer. Anyway it looks good against the bokeh BG in this lighting and is well composed.
I think we have seen the last of this species for this year now.

Some beautiful soft sunlight highlights this Small Copper Butterfly. Rich color saturation and nice sharp detail. A well controled DOF has given a perfect OOF backround to showcase the butterfly.

Simple, touchant et beau! Et comme tu as raison: en regardant ces merveilles de la nature, on se rend compte que la vie est belle et qu'elle vaut bien la peine d'être vécue. Que ceux qui en doutent oui qui brassent dans le négatif en prennent exemple!

Du côté technique, l'image est parfaite: couleur, netteté et champ de profondeur sont excellents, peut-être - sur le plan de la composition - un vide un peu trop important autour du sujet principal.

der tiefschwarze ungegliederte Schatten und ein schwarzer Schleier über dem Rand der linken Flügel mindern ein wenig die Brillianz der Darstellung. Doch Deine spannungsgeladene Komposition mit viel Luft zum Atmen sorgt auch hier für eine ungewöhnliche und bemerkenswerte Aufnahme.

J'en ai croisé un avec une tache rouâtre de part et d'autre de l'abdomen.
