Harmony

Nature shows me the way to harmony.
So why do I behave as if I would be blind?

Nature acts with calm and peace.
So why do I react with aggressivity?

Nature plays a tender melody.
So why do I shout out loud?

Nature teaches me discretion and humbleness.
So why do I behave arrogantly?

I'm learning hard,
But sometimes fail,
Excuse me for that...

Posted as apology for the mess I have created on the forum...

Kind regards

Hello Markus,
Sometimes a question has to be asked to reveal the truth and your latest forum point has brought out to some truths that need to be exposed, even if it was not what we expected.
It is interesting to see how people reveal their weaknesses by their reactions, and I am not referring to you.
But now all is a calm as the untouched snow and the visual purity that this image shows.
Thank you and best regards,
Ivan

Ciao Markus,
TFS

Hi Markus,
An original capture! I really like the contours of the snow and how you have captured the areas of light and shadow. Beautiful in its simplicity!

Saludos Markus: Josep Ignasi.

hello markus,
beautiful capture, i liked the colours, the ligtings and the curves very much, highly artistic work, the blue color tone looks just awesome here, dont worry about the forum thing, you can forget it for better. excellent notes too.
well done,
tfs & regards
pankaj

such a simple but elegant composition, love the wavy lines of the snow and the blue tones

Hello Markus,
You never cease to amaze me and you do it yet again today. This is like a spread of soft blue powder ...the curves and the shadows becoming the central features. I love the way the snow takes the blue colour while the sky acts as the BG on the final segment of blue at the back.I wonder what kind of position did you take to get this PoV.The falling light enhances the beauty of the atmosphere created. The exposure is marvellously handled. Every time i see your work i realise there is so much to learn from you in this genre of landscape photography and your distinct style of production.
I must however mention that while i admired the composition a lot,I have a slightly different preference of the frame you have chosen. So I tried on another frame to just explore my perspective and am delighted to post in on the workshop.Hope you wont mind:)

Thanks for sharing...as always you work is a pleasure to look at.

Cheers
Silpa
P.S: I would agree with Ivan's thoughts on the unexpected outcomes at the forum and suggest you heed Pankaj's advice of leaving the episode behind:)...'rent we all continously learning in life...?So, roll out your good spirits:)

Markus, your images like this are lyrical; what's more, you are a poet too. You have penned a superb poem here in your note. I like it.
The point of view you adopted for this snow scape could not be better. Besides, you have also done a great job at editing because the image has no flaws and no jarring kinks in it.
I mean it from the core of my heart -- just to assure you that I'm not scratching your back :).
Regards.
Ram

Hy Markus
It is not fair...This picture is so simple and so perfect in its simplicity. I am wandering haw you make them, haw you manage to find all this combinations of colours, shapes!
I will be a little bad...maybe are not so “nature”, but still...we are crying that the ice from the poles is melting and will influence our lives, our nature...So, the question still remains: is the snow nature or not!
But, yah, we have an artist between us, so, we have to learn from him!
All the best, Oana

Hello Markus,
There is much to say about the photo and the note, but I can only say it in a few words:
Amazing and full of respect!

Hello Markus,
What a beautiful and tranquil looking scene.
It does invoke a feeling of calmness indeed.
I read the forum that sadly got so out of hand, and didn't think you were at fault at all.
Rather,I felt you were treated unfairly.
I didn't get involved because sometimes I unwittingly make things worse myself.
Glad things have settled down now.
Cheers
Steve

Hi Markus,
Very nice and unusual capture.I liked lighting,POV and composition a lot.Very well done!
Thanks for posting.

Bonjour Markus,

I had been to this part of the world last November and it provides us lot of opportunity to shoot such creative pictures.
The reason why i love this picture is that" Shooting whites" with details needs lots of skill and you have managed to do that. The tonal gradations, details and play of light and shadows make it a pretty picture to watch.
PS. I might visit SWISS next month

Hi Markus,
thanks for your critique and view on my posta. Really appreciate it. I really like hearing from you. Thwnks again.
This one of yours is really soft and lovely. It is really harmony between the earth and the sky, nd you title really justify it.
What I love here is the light hitting the snow giving a lovely shining effect and it just diffuse slowly into the blueness of the sky.
Excellent view indeed.

Foozi

Lieber Markus,
Hab herzlichen Dank

Hallo Markus
This is worth the word harmony because it is indeed harmonious and peaceful. The layered colours captured in this image are really splendid. It is actually such an ordinary sight but, it has such a lot of attraction to it that catches the eye. The wide open space snow covered mountain and the sky looks real inviting, and one would easily forget the cold and take a stroll, like as if you were walking in the countryside and forget about all things that caused heartache or pain, and just appreciate the openness and fresh air that surrounds you. Thanks for sharing; it was a pleasure to look at. Best regards.
Anna

Nice shot and great notes! I love the little blue snow bumps, thanks for sharing! Cheers Josh Lewis.

Dieter

Hello Markus,

Elegant simplicity as the white snow takes the colour of the sky in the shady parts!
Well exposed with good texture in the snow, fine play of light and wonderful lines...
