What a wonderful scene and picture. I love them. All is charming: fine flowers, impressive leaf BG, beautiful butterfly and bee. Quality of the shot is amazing. Fantastic DOF and sharpness of the entire scene. Soft light and colours cannot be more beautiful. Bravo. I give you my last favorite shot's point with great pleasure.

Bonsoir Annre,
Très belle composition avec une très agréable ordonnance des couleurs. C'est vrai que les moirés sont particulèrement difficiles à déterminer. En tout cas, il est parfaitement mis en valeur par le bouquet d'inules, appréciées aussi par le gourmand bourdon.

Hi Anne. I have had a look in my books and i am sure you are right with your ID. As you say the fourth spots makes you wonder . Anyway. What ever it is you took a fine close up with good detail and rich colours. And a Bee as a bonus. All on the bright yellow flowers. well done TFS.

A splendid capture of a most beautiful dark coloured butterfly, with good detail and great colours. The texture and patterns are displayed well and is clearly seen. This specific butterfly reminds me of autumn. The hairy bee is also a great attraction. Good sharpness, good focus and greatly framed, making this an excellent close-up shot. Liebe Anne,
ein schönes Stück sommerlicher Bergwiese, mit dem Du uns hier erfreust, voll mit üppigem Leben. Verhaltene Farbigkeit unter einem offenbar bedecktem Himmel, der im Sommer oft eine Wohltat ist und angenehm besinnlich macht.
ID von Mohrenfaltern - auch für mich oft immer noch eine schwer zu knackende Nuss. Hier denke ich wegen der schwarz-weiss gescheckten Flügelfransen vorrangig an "Erebia ligea". (Aber auch "E. euyale" käme in Frage - zur Unterscheidung bräuchte es wohl noch eine Dokumentation der Unterseite). Peter Roos (batu) als unser bester Experte für Mohren meldet sich vielleicht noch zu Wort.
