Hi Anne. You have a picture of two beautiful things. The plant and the butterfly. The detail is first class with sharp focusing. Very good use of the light has given such natural colours. It stands out so well from The plain BG. well done TFS.

This is really striking and beautiful. The colours of the wings are very soft to the eye and stunning. It almost have a powdery appearance. Just love the zebra striped antennas and the big eyes. A lovely image with great focus, sharpness and super all around framing. Very pleasing to look at. Fascinating plant you have captured the butterfly on, as it has interesting details. Although this species appear on TN very often yours like me very much. This plant have very interesting shape and nicely complete this composition also BG which is smooth dark green.

lovely argus in such a pretty and interesting pose. I like its dotted wings and the antenna. The whole capture is so sharp and the detailes are well seen. You have skillfully put the blurry background into a wonderful effect.

per un aiuto significativo su l'ID di questa farfalla non si è pronunciato nessuno, personalmente penso, come te, che sia più probabile che si tratti di un maschio di Plebejus argus, certo si sarebbe più sicuri vedendolo assieme alla femmina o almeno vedendo anche la parte dorsale, che normalmente in argus ha una fascia marginale scura più ampia, anche se variabile. A parte la difficoltà di ID l'immagine è molto bella e con un'ottima definizione, la composizione come sempre è magistrale.
