Ranunculus and Saxifraga

Thanks so much to Gert and Ivan to have given me suggestions for the ID of these flowers.
The tiny white ones are a kind of Saxifraga
and the yellow ones seem to be rather a Ranonculus -species than a Potentilla.

I just saw the mix of two flower-species and it made me think about the medieval Flower-carpets, which we can find in several European Museums (for example the different carpets of "1000 flowers")

Hello Anne,
a lovely bouquet of these wild flowers. I like the yellow that gives the shines and beauty to your composition. The light pink flowers complement it.
Nicely composed shot.

Hello anne,

its diffucult to see wich species it are.I think als saxifraga (white) but the yellow one could be potentilla or Ranunculus (buttercap)
Good pov and sharpness.
Nice colourful image.

Hi Anne,

I really like this playful composition with the lovely flowers. Nice colours, nice diversity. It's like a little party of flowers: the pink ones could be the confetti ;) Well done! Kind regards,

Bonsoir Anne,
I think Gert is right about the ID suggestions. The white flowers could be Saxifraga stellaris and the Yellow look more like Ranunculus to me.
You have made a fine capture of the two main flowering plants almost woven into pattern against a leafy Bg.
This could be the basis for a design of cloth! I can understand that it would remind you of a medieval flower carpet.
Merci et bonne soirée,

hello Anne
very nice and soft picture with beautiful colours
great shot

Hi Anne,
A very nice photo of these flowers with excellent sharpness, colors and taken from a great POV.TFS.

Besides landscapes I like these close in mini flora landscapes...simply beautiful Anne. You have a soft touch with nature. I can see you almost in a meditative state when you take images such as this. They can yes be educational but also very calming!

A lovely shot of these beautiful flowers, Anne!
I love the fine detail here, it makes it look like a tapestry from a very fine Creator!

Lovely capture Anne! The out of focus background add excellent soft touch into the frame ! I love it! Bravo!

Hallo Anne!

Natur pur!

As liebs Grüessli

Meine liebe Freunddin Anne,

Alles Liebe

Hi Anne,
excellent composition of these species,
TFS, regards

Bonjour Anne,

Hello Anne,
I really like the framing of these dainty flowers together with the ferns. A lovely combination and the colours are beautiful.
Many thanks and have a nice weekend, Ulla

bojour Anne
Passe un bon WE
