Hi dear Anne,
Nice shot from the "Predator and prey" series, great sharpness on the spider - it's a pity the "prey" became oof. But the warm color tones and the composition save the image overall. Tfs.
Best regards and hugs, László

Ciao Anne. A dramatic and dynamic moment you've captured. Perfect details for the spyder and very good light.

Roberto

Bravo Anne! Good day! It is a pleasure to drop a line in support of your work today! A fight in the miniature world is always exiting for the photographer. Despite the shallow dept of field you have manage to show us quite well the spider and its fantastic camouflage colors. Good detail in this short focus field and brilliantly controlled light. Obviously f/6.3 was not the perfect choice. In a case like that one when the subjects are in line ( almost here ) in front of the lens I would suggest to step back a bit use lets say f/10 which under those light conditions will give a shutter speed of 1/100 and if your hands are steady as they usually are, the result can be truly fantastic. Sorry for the probably unnecessary advice, I am sure you are aware of those facts. But non the less, good shot Anne and I hope to see more exiting work from you shortly! Have a great evening my friend!
Regards,
George Veltchev

Bonsoir Anne,
A fine macro of this green species of Crab spider. You made good use of the DOF by focusing on the spider instead of its prey, that looks like a species of hoverfy.
Excellent sharpness and where in focus and the natural BG is suitable OOF in a pleasing composition.
Merci et bonne soirée et Dimanche,
Amitíés,
Ivan

GREAT and precise DOF on the spider. Educational in that it is a good macro of this type; of which I have never seen. TFS

Hello Anne,
I don't think I've seen this green-legged Spider here. A fine capture with focus on the eyes and showing its features very well.
Well composed and I like the green colours!
TFS and best regards, Ulla

Bonjour Anne
On pourraient croire que chaque araignée est différente des autres.
Celle-ci a 3 couleurs... je ne l'ai pas remarquée dans nos campagnes..
Merci pour cette grande qualité de photo : c'est un plaisir
Amitiés
Laurent

Hello Anne,
exciting view with action well captured. The sharpness is well shown though its green on green.
Effective depth and splendid lighting.
well presented shot.

Regards,
Foozi

Except for the abdomen, the colour of the rest of this Crab Spider's body matches with the greenery to perfection, Anne. No wonder it must be a very crafty hunter.
Excellent focus on the subject with its prey. The ambient light illuminates the scene very effectively.
Thanks and regards.

hello Anne,
Nice details and perfect focus. Interesting Crabspider (green-brown).
I have seen white-green Crabspiders and they are perfect hunters.
Congratulation!
Marius.

Hallo Anne,

Buen trabajo !

Buena semana: Josep Ignasi.
