Bird's-eye Primrose
Primevère farineuse

Family: Primulaceae
Size: 5-20cm
Blossom: April to July
Distribution: Northen Europe and Asia. In the Alpine regions on higher altitudes

I was surprised to find very few pictures of this species on TN. It's why I show it here.
This fine Spring-flower grows on my meadow close to the little brook which crosses it. These flowers seem to like humid habitats.

Hello Anne,
another lively bouquet of life flowers presented here. The purple really stand out brilliantly against the dark background.
Very artistic style with green blades of grass giving extra visual composition.
Nicely seen and well depicted beauty.

Hi Anne.
The Bird's-eye Primrose is beautiful and the capture is so good with razor thin DoF. The silenced background is buttery smooth making this image looking like 3D. Well done with the composition and thanks for sharing.
Best regards,

Hi Anne,
Superb composition of this really beautiful Primula, very rare in my country
TFS & nice WE

Hy Anne
Stong and bright colors, as only alpine plants could have. Excellent contrast with the environment.
All the best
