Your efforts to take this croceus were worth while and the 90 degree rotation makes and attractive composition. The colours, sharpness and exposure to give adark clean natural BG add to the quality of this image.
Though the WS shows the natural position I like this one.

bellissima immagine di Colias crocea, personalmente preferisco la posizione corretta in workshop, eccellente definizione e colori meravigliosi, l'eccellente risultato finale ripaga della lunga attesa; come si sa, le cose non avvengono per caso, in qualche modo siamo sempre artefici della nostra "fortuna" fotografica.
