Hi Anne,
My most preferred pose in case of butterflies is the fully opened wings, but first of all it's personal taste, secondly, you didn't ask your model for not opening his wings fully... :-) Spectacular composition with great sharpness and DoF. Probably the temperature (white balance) is a little too high and the tones are too yellow, but minimally. Very slight color adjustment (5% to blue) and increasing contrast in very soft dose may solve the problem.

Bonsoir Anne,
You are lucky to have this skipper in your meadow. The Chequered Skipper is not common in Sweden and i would have to travel 400 km to see it.
A fine macro of the male, the forewings shown with fine sharpness and natural colours in a pleasing composition.

nice colors of the skipper and the curve of the leaf add beauty to it. Sometimes skipper dont opened their wings fully but the beauty of the pattern can still be seen.
Nice color contrast.
