[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was shot while climbing the Gross-Wannenhorn. The highest mountain you can see on the right is the Finsteraarhorn (4274m).
In this area of Swiss Alps, there are the biggest alpine gletchers. Unfortunatly also these gletchers are retreating quickly...

Bonjour Enrico,
Beau panorama qu'il faut mériter en montant soi-même sur les sommets! Un peu dommage que le Finsteraarhorn soit un peu dans l'ombre.

Hi Enrico,
Another stunning view. Love the contrast between the superb blue sky and the virgin snow. It is beautiful to see the cracks of the gletcher on the bottom right of the photo.

Hi Enrico,

Lovely shot - excellent exposure (no grey snow!) and the vivid blue sky provides a lovely contrast.

I wish I was there instead of at my desk!

Crying shame about the glaciers retreating - how much evidence do the politicians need before taking action, it makes me so angry to see the world we love being hurt so badly.

Lovely shot though!
TFS, Doug

Hi Enrico!nice comopsition and colours!A majestic region!

Hi Enrico,

Another stunning picture, very nice contrasts with the white snow and blue sky, well exposed,TFS

Wow.. this is something you will NEVER get to see here in Singapore! Absolutely love this view. Excellent exposure, clarity and sharpness. Contrast of the blue sky against the greyish mountains and pure white snow is very nice.

Bella luce, ottima composizione e bilanciamento del bianco.

Hi enrico,
A lovely winter landscape...very impressive.Looks like a dangerous place for avalaches. As you noticed in my gallery I am also one that likes the beauty of winter. The deep blue sky is very good....contrasts nicely with the snow.Could have given maybe more of the terrain and less of the sky....the cut not decisive (50/50).Very nice...keep well.
Regards, David

Ohh...here is another beauty! Perfectly exposed with good whites and tonal values. The glaciers are retreating everywhere. Glacier National Park in Montana USA has just tiny remnants left...and they have done most of this retreat in my lifetime...within my own memory span! **sigh**
