[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I am very glad to come back and share new shot, my feelings and happened events.
My absence here was caused business trip and sudden sickness. After successful trip I have catch a cold and taken to a bed on one and a half week. In that not very nice for me days I felt encouragement of TN friends, reading their warm comments on my previous photos. I am very grateful to them.

Now I am almost OK and wish to represent first for me shot of this cute small and very brisk birdy. Also this shot taken with new lens, which is my first prime tele lens.

I have no idea about ID of the bird despite the fact that this species is common for the city and live among multistory houses in the town. I have pictured this bird near our city apartments while tested lens with Kenko 1.4x TC. However, I only could dream to picture it because of its mobility and timidity. Now, with help of more powerful equipment I can do it.

My first impression is 420 mm it is great.
My long-standing conclusion is that to be among TN friends is the most great.
____

Many thanks to our expert Ivan Kruys (Argus) for correct ID. Now I also know that this species is Black Redstart (Phoenicurus ochruros), femail.

Hello Alexei,
I have just called you a master macro photographer: now I would like to modify that statement to saying that you are a master nature photographer. You have used your new 420 mm tele with the skill of a persom that know exactly how to take a good telephoto bird portrait!
The PoV is ideal and taken with excellent sharpness and lighting with a DOF to provide the right BG.
An excellent portrait of a female Black Redstart (Phoenicurus ochruros).
Well done Alexei and thanks for sharing this result of your skills!

Hello Alex,
Very fine and natural picture of the very timid Black Redstart resting on the ground. Excellent light management and fine sharpness. I have seen these same birds close to my house and saw how quick they disappear if they feel some presence.
I also hope that you are fine by now and that you can enjoy the beautiful Spring weather.
Kind regards
Anne

Alexei,
I feel MOST JOYFUL to see you back.
Am happy you have new equipment too.
But, you are so skillful at this our hobby that you REALLY, REALLY don't need new stuff.
All your work is AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL.

Hi Alexei, Very nice clarity especially the eye which is so important in all animal photos. The little glint of the sunlight on its eyes is effective. Your zoom shots are inspirational. TFS, Murray.
PS Pleased to hear you are better now.

Hello Alexei !
Lovely catch of this cute bird, they are very common in France too, this year - I have never seen so many as this year. The details on the face and plumage are fantastic, and I also like the natural colors, the composition, the POV, and the pose of the bird. The little green plants on the ground add a nice touch of color to the picture. Very well done !
Valérie.

P.S. : Sorry, I have no points left for today, and maybe no time to write tomorrow, so I write a comment without point this time...

Hi Alexie,

Perfectly taken capture of this beautiful black redstert from fine POV with impeccable clarity and delightful composition.
TFS and have a nice night MF!
Cheers,

Bayram

Hi dear Friend,
Exceptional and very pleasant presentation of a female Black Redstart, a bird I often saw in my parents' garden but never managed to shoot in useful quality. Your superb photo offers - besides the pleasant view - great colors, sharpness and DoF, and doing it with a 420 mm telelens was a good idea. I also used it (my Lumix knows 12x optical zoom, equivalent with 420 mm) sometimes for birds and butterflies, but only this photo became above average. So, congrats for the clear and nice capture.
Friendly regards, László
