The adult pelican is a large, dark gray-brown water bird with white around the head and neck. Adult pelicans can reach up to eight pounds or larger with wingspans of over seven feet.
Brown pelicans nest in colonies mostly on small coastal islands. The nests are usually built in trees but ground nesting also does occur.
Brown pelicans are long-lived, one bird aged at 31 years. |

Interesting selection of poses, the picture would be improved if either the centre birds eyes could be see or if the bird on the left was complete. Otherwise great work.
