Your sharpness and the green background are excellent.
Just one thing - this leaf in the foreground that covers the low part of the flower bothers..

very nice picture, the colors also nice. Isolating between forground and background is perfect.

I have these growing in my back yard. They are wild. But I kept them beacause of their soft beauty.
Did you ever try to remove the leaf in the F/G?
It is still very cold in Calgary and this year the flowers will come out late.
This is truely a great composition. Thanks for sharing.
Your friend, Mario.

Last year, while in Japan, I saw Iris with my own eyes for the first time. The variety that you show here has a beautiful form and eye catching colors. This iris is so fresh and feel delightful to look at.

Una preciosidad, muy delicada, sutil, vaporosa... un Iris espléndido con un caracol añadido como extra.

Amazing details in this delicate flower!
The petals are very well reproduced, with sharp fine details and attractive colours...
The leaf in front is a tad disturbing, but the snail is a bonus!
I've spent a while going through your "past" and there's a lot I've missed! This is a lovely capture of an Iris in wonderful colours that really stand out from the green background. I like the diagonal leaves in the foreground too!
Many thanks, Ulla

This is a fine looking flower and that white petals are never easy to shoot. The rendered details are truly amazing and love the natural tone from your shot here.
Thanks and have a nice day.
