cute and well describing picture, capturing your friend the squirrel in a pose of alert curiosity. Whenever I approached a squirrel it either hopped straight ahead in front of me to ask for a nut (this is what they are doing in the parks of Vienna), or it immediately turned to the other side of the tree out of my sight (this is what they are doing in genuine alpine mountain forests). Your squirrel seems to have been pretty cooperative, and you know how to deal with it.

Very interesting and very nice captured shot that you show here. The pose of this guy is very unordinarily. Composition is perfect. I prefer to show all parts of tail but I know that its too difficult to adjust and to plan all things in the nature photography. Our sitters never listen to our advices and they are not patient. On the contrary they are very shy and want to run away from us quickly. It's not possible to take right pose and suitible our desires. Your shot is really very interest and perfect. Bravo and TFS dear brother.

I see you have a new flufy fuzzy friend and very cute too!Realy great shot thanks for sharing it with us, one advice if you don't like red eyes caused by blitz light, you can remove that in Picasa program,just by selecting the small red area and using red eye remove option!

What a super picture this is Alexei, showing us (who know nothing about sqirrels) how long they are. That tail is so long and bushy, and the ears are too. Thank you for sharing, I alway like to see these animals on TN, and I am learning more about them.
