Large Skipper, Ochlodes venatus
I saw my first Large Skipper of the season last week, quite an early record for this species in England.
I chose this POV to get good details of the head and antennae, which distinguish this Family from the other groups of butterflies.
The camera was hand-held in good sunlight, but with some fill-in flash to help eliminate shadows. Thanks for looking.

Hallo Alan
Superb display of colour. Excellent camera work and a real feast to the eye. Every little detail is just great. The big eyes and funny shape of the antennas is very eye-catching. The warm autumn colours is very catchy. Good focus and framing, presented in a delightful manner. Thanks for sharing. Kind regards
