[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I really just wanted to post this so I could ask a question. While taking photos of creatures in my back garden, I came across a lot of woodlice, most were grey, one or two were brick red, but all were the same size. Then I came across this one. It was over twice the size of the others, with pale yellow markings. When I moved the plant pot it was under, one of the other woodlice ran over to it kept repeatedly crawling over it, as if to shield it. I don’t know anything about woodlice and I was wondering if this was some sort of ‘queen’. Woodlice don‘t seem that sophisticated to me, maybe it was just another species and the smaller one was just panicking. Also, I didn’t notice the small green creature crawl underneath it for shelter until I looked at the photos on my computer. I‘d be really interested to know what that is.
