This is one sight that is hard for me to see in natural environment here. I can see how peaceful is the deer sunbathing under a well seen spot. Good sharpness in the composition with very well managed light. I like it and very well done.

Hi Geof, how come I have never visited your beautiful gallery? Your pictures are stunning and superb. I love this one, the deer seems at peace to me, enjoying those rays of sun and the warmth of it on its coat. I love the tree on the left, with its curve and moss, it gives a nice and soft movement to the picture. The shadows, the colours, everything is in place, the composition is wonderful. Thank you.

A sunny and pleasant image to look at.
I like the relaxing and tranquil mood that transmit this scene.
The green moss on the tree creates a very good colour contrast against the warm tones of the ground.

What a wonderful photo. The split between the old trunk and the dear is perfect and gives a great harmony to the composition. The wooded area makes fitst the mood in this photo perfectly and also makes me relaxed.
