Hi Bob
This guy looks like he is from our side of the pond, a Southern White-faced Scops Owl - Ptilopsus granti - 25-58 cm. The whites are a bit hot on him. Try to give some info, even if it is about the venue your technique etc.

Black and white was a good choice for this capture. The contrast is good, more whould probable made the shot harsh. Thanks for posting
