Hello Rob, welcome to TN. Nice colourful first post. The composition is nice and the colours are good but perhaps a little oversaturated. The bee looks a little soft in focus but not too bad. Overall a nice job. Try if possible to write a note about your subject or how you took the photo, this is an important part of TN. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

The colors are good but I think you used zoom to take this picture that's why the picture is Out Of Focus, or you just were'nt in macro mode, I dont really know but the pic is OOF.
The DOF is great, you can see in the flower.

I really like the composition in this picture, with the thistle at a diagonal. The flower part is a bit overexposed, and the bee could be sharper, but still a very pleasing photo. TFS. : )
