Hi all, hope you like this picture.I've converted it to B/W as i think it adds to the mood of this shot. This oak tree stands alone in the huge feild, makes you wonder why, well it does me. I'm not sure how old it is but its so cool :-)

the classic "lonely tree" in the classic b&w,
absolutely great, trevor! :-)
impressive oak-tree, good dramatic sky,
wonderful dark mood.
well seen & done, thor.

Very nice capture Trevor, the B&W works well with this. Well done.

Nice shot, the black and white works well. I like the mood it is very dark and Sleepy Hollow like.

Good composition, good focus and the exposure works well here, making it slightly darker and more moody.

My only critique would be the writing on the photograph (but that is personal pref.)

Nice shot and TFS

Hello Trevor,
This is a fine old specimen, quite well depicted!
Your composition is well balanced, and the details in the naked branches are good...
My question mark is the the sky, as it appears to be a tad too dark to fully emphasis the tree...
Pablo -

Very suggestive shot.
Well composed.
Good choise of the black&white.
Thanks for sharing.

a very good comp. Like the idea and it gives a calm feeling when looking at it.
