Picture taken in National Seal Sanctuary in Cornwall. There are two otters, called Bamboo and Thai. They are Asian Short Clawed Otters which originate from Southern Asia and Indonesia, where they inhabit the paddy fields.
This pair of Asian Short Clawed Otters are ideally suited to life in the public gaze, perfect ambassadors for the conservation cause of otters in the wild, including our dwindling native species, the European Otter. |

I used to look after injured otters when I was younger living in Scotland... I love otters!!.. good composition, slight out of focus and a bit over exposed, but the composition makes up for this.. regards h
