Godrevy Cove

|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Godrevy Cove has a very small coarse sand and shingle beach which seems to change character after every large storm...sometimes it appears quite sandy, at other times not. Nestling as it does underneath the low cliffs of Godrevy Point its main attraction is the lighthouse. Geologists, coast path walkers and anglers may find areas of interest.
Used hitech nd 0.9 and hitech nd grad did have purple colour cast any advice on how to combat this would be appreciated. |

Hallo Matthew
What a wonderful view. I think seeing this for real must be an awesome experience. What a fantastic peace of nature you have captured and how thankful I am that you are sharing it with us. It looks so peaceful and serene and the tranquillity is perceptible. The atmosphere is magic, just as your photography here. The shades of pink is a delight to look at. Thanks for sharing this wonderful place. Best regards.
Anna
Hi Matthew,
the old colour cast is a real problem with most ND filters i found - the only way round it is to invest in some expensive ones - i use Lee, which are true neutral. I did a workshop to try to correct it a little.
I like this shot, you've chosen your POV well, using the diagonal of the rock in the FG to lead the eye nicely ro the rocks out back. The sky is nice, but there is an overexposed patch which kinda distracts me too much. That aside, it's got alot of mood and is peaceful to look at, well done!
tfs and have a nice weekend,
Paul
Hello Matthew! Wonderful rocks, amazing waves, superb vertical composition, original format. Perfect exposure. Great effect. Well done!
