Common Blue Butterfly
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
It is Britain's most common and most widespread blue, found as far north as Orkney and on most of the Outer Hebrides. Males are often very obvious as they defend territories against rivals and search out the more reclusive females. A range of grassland habitats are used: meadows, coastal dunes, woodland clearings and also many man made habitats, anywhere where their food plants are found. |

Hi Les,
Good focus and very stark against the background, although maybe a bit over-sharpened after resizing. As most screens are wider than tall, might have been easier to look at with a bit more crop top and bottom. Thanks and HNY.
Alan
Hi Les,
I like this butterfly, but I agree with some words od accassidy. But on the other hand I know, that it's not easy to take close-ups. We must try do be better (I'm trying to do better photos every time).
In my opinion natural colours and good composition.
Thanks for sharing,
Maciek
