[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Please No Point's for this shot!

My list of Favourites has gone down by Two people in a day, the two Members Paul Burford (Lawbert) and Rob Fry (Arfer) have had there accounts disabled, like many other members I feel these two guys are major contributers to this site and I'm completed gutted about this turn of events.

Three other's have also had trouble Joe, Necip, Sumon & Howard, so this is for them too. I have lost interest in critiquing my heart isn't in it so I've come back to edit this

Rob

Started on TN just a couple of months before me, I love his pictures and documentation of Canadian Wildlife, especially his lovely Wolves. He also e mailed me when I hadn't posted for a bit to see if all was OK

Paul

As his profile used to say he is an ordinary guy who works in a Freezer all day, like many of us he works hard all week and hobbies like Photography and posting on TN are the special things we do in our spare time. I've enjoyed seeing his in-flight shots improve, and Paul if you are reading this I really like the one you posted today.

Howard

One of the longest serving members, some stunning shots have graced TN from the Lens of Howard, the Red Cardinal with wings at full stretch is one of my all time fav's. I don't know Howard but he seems like real friendly guy with a glint in his eye.

Sumon

Another guy who I don't know but with a lovely smile on his profile pic he looks a real nice guy. I don't believe he posts for points, if he did he wouldn't post as often would he. He has a lovely Gallery full of wonderful Macro shots that would get loads of points even if he never wrote a critique.

Necip

One of the most talented Photographers on this site, his in-flight shots are stunning and he has also been a big help to other members who have met up with him and shared his knowledge and equipment.

Joe

Finally last not never least our friend Joe, like Selen said in her dedication we have all watched Joe since he started on TN, he has developed into a fine Photographer and I'm sure he will go on to follow all his dreams. If you read Joe's profile you can see how much TN means to him and how it has helped him, he has worked hard in every way on this site posting, critiquing, themes and he is always one of the first to answer any forum questions other members have.

Hi Hilary. A very good close up of this Female Blackbird which you have a good low POV anf natural colours. good detail i nthe feathers. Nice one for Rob and Paul , Paul is a good mate i meet him on a TN trip in Dorset and London. TFS.

Hello Hilary,
Superb capture of the female Blackbird from a nice low POV. Great focus on her lovely eye and very sharp details of the plumage. Fine colours too and well composed. We have one nesting in our hedge at the moment.
Let's hope our friends return again!

Hello Hilary,
A sad turn of events. One can only hope that these guys will return with their former vigour to this site, as they have been a valuable part of it.
This capture of a juvenile Blackbird is a fine tribute as it has the technical qualities, composition and POV that makes it first rate.

I feel the same as you and my heart isn't into critiquing. A beautiful Blackbird - some day maybe I'll get to see one. A lovely dedication to our friends who were among the most active and talented people on TN. Here's to better days.

It is only by reading yours and Selen's posts that I have become fully aware of what has happened. Fortunately I have Paul's mobile number so I can text him. This does feel like someone has hit the Red Button and gone nuclear over something that could be easily sorted out!!

Now I know everything but I still don know why.

Maybe the administartors will remowe all the accounts of good photographers and we will have only the place for the almost 12 000 memebers without any photos and without any comments and also without any problems.

As for the photo. A nice shot with good sharpneess nice natural surrounding and simple but fine composition and also nice field guide POV

Very strange things happened on TN last times... I think this site is on straight road to selfdestruction which is very sad news for members like me who really loved this place.
Even bird on your photo looks sad...

the recent events have made everyone sad as we all loved TN and our TN friens very much,

Hi Hilary,

A solitary subject in TN never evoked sad feelings in me, but today it is remarkably so for the things happening around here.

The bird is well captured with very a good catchlight and details on the plumage.the green habitat makes a fine contrast to the colour of the bird.

I hope life gets back to normal soon

This bird is "ducking" as if expecting the hammer to come down... Not a great feeling *I am sure* !

I certainly agree on the loss we feel, in particular of my fellow Canuck who exposed amazing wildlife in Ontario in his legion posts!!!

Sad news to hear that the best photographes are gone from TN. I realy enjoy looking at their photos and reading notes. I hope this problem will soon be resolved.
Great detils in this black bird, excellent pose and good light, looks like he is very Young.

Hello Hilary. When my critiques privileges in TE and TN accounts were withdrawn, I was thinking as an isolated event. The notes written here gave me shivers. All of them are excellent photographers and frequently supporting my humble gallery. Excellent image and noble dedication. Warmest regards.

Sorry that I'm a little bit late for that picture, I had missed it.
This is a very touching picture of the female blackbird, the ideal picture do dedicate to all the nice members who had somme problems here on TN. It seems that things are going better now, and I noticed that most of them are back. Fortunately for us all!
