Hi Geof!

I'm often in the mountains, and similar to the person walking here I'm alone. This is the best solution to be able to contemplate and to communicate with myself and the nature. Your picture evokes all of this.

Thank you for that!

From the technical point of view, I particularly like the composition with the path leading to the summit.

Concerning your notes, maybe my lack of English knowledge hinders me to understand all of their sense.

a fine shot of Cumbrian Upland...is it near Fairfield? I haven't been here, although i did venture up Loughrigg which isn't too far i think. Super open view and excellent exposure...it's definitely ok, why do you ask??

I love the view you've captured here. The V-shaped mountain makes for a very atractive subject. The path leading to the top has drawn my eyes straight to the top. This must have been a very beautiful walk. The person in the photo (your wife?) adds a good idea of scale. Colors and details are perfect.

Probably one of the strongest lead-ins I have seen in any photograph ever..!
Excellent composition, inclusion of the tourist does no harm...
