Hello Everyone,

I have had a lovely weekend at Windermere. Although the weather was not fabulous, at least it was not raining, this area always maintains a superb, individual beauty.

Today I am posting a very individual little robin! He was little, but he was also very chubby and round. He was perched over a dry stone wall and was trilling at the top of his voice! As you can see from his pose, he gave us lots of eye contact! The message was clear - this is my territory; you have no right here! Robins are very territorial and spend much time staking their claim!

pp cropped, sharpened, added soft light, added borders and signed

Many thanks for your visit.
Please feel free to offer feedback on any aspect of the shot.

Hi Beverley. As you say a very chubby looking Robin. He looks well fed.I like the pose head turned around to look at you. good natural colours. with fine detail.well done TFS.

Hello Bev
He is just lovely with so much attitude..He looks almost angry at you invading his space..He obviously is the master of his territory because of his size..Who ate all the pies?..Mr Robin did!!
You have done exceptionally well with such a slow shutter speed hand held.
My advise of the tripod may be wrong taking into account all your trips..A sturdy manfrotto monopod may be of more use and it can double as a walking staff. and they are cheap!!
Great Shot Bev and thanks for sharing him with us

Hi Bev,
Magnifique avec de belles couleurs et toujours de belles compositions.

Hello Beverley,
Familiar description of Windermere and how nice you came to catch this beauty. Well perched in that intimidating look and captured in good details and clarity. Nice natural color with good contrast.

Hi Beverley.
You have taken a so charming picture of the cute small bird. Its pose and expression of the eye(s) are wonderful. Neutral surroundings are suitable for the main character. Only one not point is not the best it is some softness of the image. My kind regards and TFS.
