[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the River Ply, very near it's source on Dartmoor. Eventually this wild river exits at the sea in Plymouth, hence the city's name.

I visited this spot nearly exactly a year ago, and posted a shot from here on TN. Looking back and comparing the two, it's great to see that i have made some progress with my photography!

Hi Paul,
great long-exposure shot of this stream.
Well done,

There is a lot in this image I like Paul, and some parts that bother me a little. If I were to cut the image right in half, I love the top half but not the bottom. Too much white there detracts from all the little falls that provide so much texture and interest. The colors are beautifully natural.

Hi Paul

Congrats on a visually stunning shot! TFS.

Hello paul,
ANother nice shot from this fairy forest. I like very much the blurred water and the overall greenish hue in that landscape. Very effective POV too.
Best greetings,

Hi Paul. I am very interested to see your photos from this EOS400. It is a real English wilderness you show us here. Excellent POV looking up and no wasted space. Very fine contribution. Murray.

Hi dear Paul , my friend,
what a anice shot, great composition and amazing colours.
i like this mood.
thanks for sharing

Hi Paul,
Lovely image! I love the moss on the rocks and the soft water effect from the slow shutter speed is superb. Great composition with the rocks in the foreground and the trees in the background. Well done and TFS
Cheers Tina :-)

Good Photo!

Hi Paul.
great shot. Good design. Good foreground and nice water movement. I love those trees in the b/ground. Well done.
Regards, Steve.

It's always nice to look back and see how much things have changed. Nice image Paul.

Hi Paul, well composed shot with good speed on the water. Although the exposure is well handled I would burn in just a little on the mid-tones in the central water to reveal the movement and turbulence of the fall. Well done.

Hola Paul.
precioso trabajo,
efectos excelentes...
magníficos detalless,

Hi Paul, great landscapes in your gallery, this one is splendid view of wonderful waterfall, excellent exposure and lovely delicate colors, very well done, ciao Silvio

Hey dude - check you, sparked of some real interest on this shot, but all credit to you mate 'cos it's a beauty.

Dont think there is much about this that I would change, captured the moment and the day well - and what a day it was.

Cheers mate

Hi Paul,
This is really awesome. Such great work on the composition with the two rocks leading to the falls. Excellent work on the exposure, keeping the white wash in perfect condition, with even some texture and also keeping the leaves in the BG is perfect light and color. You really nailed this photo on all technical parts.
Isn't it great to see your own progress?

This is a beautiful scenery Paul with superb texture and excellent choice of shutter speed. This place looks magical and you did a very nice compo with excellent POV. Well done and TFS,

Hi mate,

Wow this is an excellent shot - beautifully composed and perfect exposure to create this effect - I especially love the top half (woodland, rocks, falls...) - great stuff - can't resist going and having a look at your original now!

Keep up the good work! Cheers, Doug

Hello Paul,
amazing effect with this long exposure, the water seems silk, and with the stones so motionless you created a strange contrast indeed.
I have just bought my new Canon 400D, and I'am so satisfied of her!
