Hi Everyone,

I hope you're all doing well. Thought i'd drop in and share this with you, taken on Monday night at Lulworth Cove. Good weather and rare free time co-incided for me for once and i was able to get out with the picture box and do some shooting along the coast.
Thankfully by the time darkness was approaching all the tourists had gone home and we had this spot all to ourselves.
The view here is looking south west through the entrance to this near circular cove, with the Isle of Portland just visible through gap on the horizon.

Thanks for looking as always...

Hi Paul. Good to see you again the other day. We were lucky to have this good weather on Monday. It looks as if you made the most of it. You have captured the late sun just at the right time. Which has given the clouds andsea a warm glow. I like the green sea weed on the rock in the forground. It looks as if you must have got wet feet in this one. Well done TFS.

Hello Paul,
Nice to see a posting from you!
I remember Lulworth Cove well but have never seen it like this. The lighting, colours and composition with the half-exposed rocks pointing to the sunset as a focal point is great and the cloud formation adds exctra interest.
TFS and kind regards,

Hello Paul,
What a splendid light and superb composition in this photo. The colours in the sunset are very beautiful and the reflection in the water is gorgeous. The depth in the photo through the composition is so beautiful! The clarity in the cloudy sky is impressive.
Paul, the master in landscapes!

Hello Paul
This is a stunning capture.
Excellent placement of the grad filter to tame the setting sun and still capture the wonderful colours reflected in the bay.
Your work is improving all the time and is now damn near perfect, certainly it is of magazine quality.
All the Best

Hello Paul,
This is an awesome picture, I love the colors and your composition... Well done

Hallo Paul
An absolute delightful display of colours and a feast to the eye. It is like an artist that overturned his bucket of assorted paint in the sky and it dripped down into the ocean creating a wonderful scene like the one in front of me. Indeed a masterpiece. I just love the golden colour tones in the water. This is really beautiful. You are very privileged to be surrounded by land and seascapes this beautiful. It would be wonderful if nature all over could be this way.
Kind regards

Your picture is like a symphony. It has the visual impact for the eyes the music of a symphony has to the ears. There is so much to wander in this picture, from the mossy rocks at the foreground to the beautiful golden sunset at the background, with the cape at the horizon. the clouds seem to be there like the lighter percussions. Thanks Paul, beautiful!

Cheers mate and nice to see something new from you as well!
I hope you all well - with you work, project and private life :) Anything new and interesting? A launch date, perhaps? :D
As Ivan said, i like seeing shots that remind me of beautiful places i visited in the past. Lulworth Cove is indeed wonderful and provides many possibilities for great seascapes...as is the case here.
The composition you came up with is excellent and the lead-in lines that the FG rocks create are terrific for carrying the viewer's view towards that colorful sunset. The details here are great and i like seeing that bare rock/algae alternation.
The cliff in the BG is lovely, too and the strata on the rocks there is also visible...cool!
I'm a bit hesitant on the brighter areas around the sun and the reflection, though...i feel that the contrast is a bit too much there for my personal taste...probably best to leave it all brighter.
On the other hand, this monitor has been known to play me a few tricks now and then, so if i'm off again, don't take it bad on me :) But i think should calibrate it again anyway.
Eh well...i'm just glad to see you posting and photographing still. I sure would like to go again on some nice hikes and take some cools shots like last year :)...good times!

Cheers and take care

It was really way to good not to share...somehow this dominates the day in images on TN...you have the whole colour pallet here Paul. good seeing you and your post.

Hi Paul,
A beautiful seascape. Lovely colors and very good view with a nice composition. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Beautiful light, colour and composition. Wow, I love it.
