Hello Nicholas,
Good macro taken with natural colors, good focus and nice composition.

Hello Nicholas,
Sorry, I can not help with ID ... hardly know grasshoppers of my country! :)
But I can say it is a tiny beautiful! ... very good macro. Seeing the leaf, we see how small is! Excellent cut with complete antennas allowing in visual infield. Good handle of ligth.
TFS, Regars, Have a nice week MF!

Hi Nick,

Awesome macro of a bush-cricet. I think this is a male nymph of the Yersinella raymondi since its colouration and general appearance well-fit with its description.
Wonderful subtle lighting and great focusing MF!
TFS and have a nice new week!

Hello Nich,
You know I like hoppers, even if they are not so popular on this site.
You present this species with a pleasing decentred composition and good sharpness. The problem with these creatures is to find the ID. It seems that is still a nymph, if I look at Bayram's critique.
take care
Kind regards

Hello Nick,
As I am familiar with this species, I can tell you that this is a nymph of the Dark Bush Cricket (Pholidoptera griseoaptera) that is quite common in N. Europe, including S. parts of the UK. It is the only brown bush cricket in N. Europe.
Nice macro with good sharpness and colours and a pleasing composition.
Thanks and best regards,
