Hallo Dennis en welcome to Trek Nature.
I like your intro image as it is beautifully composed, the point of view is great and the heron is seen with great clarity. The details of its eye, beak and plumage are really lovely and especially the fine fluffy feathers in the facial area are rather lovely. I also like the almost "naughty" expression on the heron's face. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

Welcome to Trek Nature.
Nice shot with very good composition in beautiful natural
colours and sharp details. Blurred background is nice too.

Welcome to TN. Your debut image is fantastic, with great sharpness and composition, with the negative space in front of the heron's face. Hats off for the gorgeous photo. In the future, please try to write notes to your pictures, because we're all here to learn: about the scene, how you photographed it etc. - anything goes! I hope to see more of your work soon.
Best regards, László from Cork, Ireland

Hello Dennis! Fine capture of the heron. I love the sleekness of his head feathers and the gleam in his eye! Didn't realize they were so fluffy before. Hard to get this close, you've done really well! TFS! Linda
