[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this shot while sitting in my back garden last year. The BBC had promised rain all day, and they didn't let us down. Thankfully, the storm missed us by about a mile....just as well really, or i'd have never got this shot.

What a wonderful capture this is. I especially like the detail and different shading here. Good clarity, contrast. TFS

Congratulations!.. great moment you have captured, and the image is very sharp.
Do you have the colour version of this shot?
regards from Buenos Aires

Great shot!
It is something mighty in these clouds. The colours and composition are very good.
I like it very much.
Well done!

Very impressive point of view, Scott! Great composition. Why don't you submit your image for the next UK cloud atlas? Thanks so much for posting.

Nice shot Scott,
The BBC got it right?!?
Black and white works so well here.
thanks for posting

Impresive capture, well done.

Just found this one and it's a very powerful looking photograph, showing the strength of the storm and the turmoil of the clouds very well indeed.

The b/w was a good choice as well.

Great shot!
Interesting capture and composition!
Well done!

Incredible thunderhead clouds with some swift winds by the look of things. BW accentuates the many intricacies very nicely. Well done.
