Lovely capture of this Wigeon one of my favourite ducks! Great focus and beautiful light. Excellent sharp details of the markings and the 'golden' head. I like the space in front but maybe I would have cropped it more above.

Saw plenty of these today at Keyhaven! Great shot showing the winter plumage in the golden winter sun. Love the detail on the feathers.

Hi Pekka,

This Wigeon has the most glorious colors! The feathers are beautiful with wonderful details. The face, beak and eye are adorable. He contrasts so nicely with the water. The water is excellent too - I love the ripples.
