[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Mandarin Drake was swimming round a park lake, with others, in North Lancashire and as I was there I just had to take a photograph. I got some funny looks as I laid down on the path to get a lower view. I think walkers thought I was drunk or something. I think if I had gone any further I would have been in the water with it. Still I was pleased with the result. I have no camera details but I do remember it was my Canon D60 camera, Canon angle finder, hand held.

Hi Peter,

Beautiful Drake. The colors are fantastic - he looks hand painted. Wonderful details and I love the look in his eye. Very nice reflection too.

Gteat shot Peter, the colours and sharpness are fantastic. Certainly worth lying down to get it.
