[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I photographed this Long Tailed Duck at the Martin Mere Nature reserve. It must surely be one of our most colourful ducks, the other one which is gaining a hold in the wild is the Mandarin which seems to be breeding quite happily in various places.
Camera settings:- ISO 200, AV, Spot metering, 310mm focal length, hand held.

Hi Peter, what a lovely duck. I've never seen it in Italy.
Nice details and colors.
The eye is really sharp.

Hi Peter,
this is a beautiful duck you have captured.
Well done with the exposure and the details are very fine.
I like the low POV. Pity That we can't see the enitre reflection,
Well done.

Hi Peter,

lovely shot, nicely composed with natural colours. Their is small but growing population of 'escapee' Manderin Ducks in the New Forest which this has just reminded me of. I'll try to get down there and see if i can catch a few (with the camera of course ;o)

What an amazing looking duck, Peter.
Quite unusual and rarely seen here on TN.
I really like its markings.
You caught the details very clearly.
Light and exposure are great too.
