English Plantain (Plantago Lanceolata) by the field-side in Quarles. Not as instantly striking as most flowers, but beautiful in its own way, with a variety of medicinal properties and steeped in folklore.

Exposure: f/4, 1/3 seconds and you had no option except high ISO, it seems the light was much LOW as the DOF is very shallow, TFS.
