Mamma Cross Back
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|Todays posting is the second image I took of the female Cross Back Spider (many thanks to those who told me what she was yesterday).|
I watched her build this web from start to finish and it tool her just over an hour, now I am not really a spider person but I have to admit watching her it was quite amazing.
Once complete she sat at the centre of the web with her four front legs neatly hooked onto four spokes of the web, she gently pulled on the spokes periodically to text the torque and see if lunch had arrived.
The blue in the background is a tarpaulin cover in the garden I quite liked how it coloured half of the image this way.
Many thanks for taking the time to visit and view my image.
Kind regards Helen

Hello Helen. I did not realize that you are here and already a few images posted. This is an excellent framing of the spider. Good sharp focus in beautiful placement of the subject. Keep shooting and sharing and maybe we could have a Friday's theme here too. Best regards. Jusni
