Arctic Tern I
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I haven't posted for quite a while but I have finally had chance to get out there with my new Sigma 120-400 on a great trip to the Farne Islands - I have lots of images to post .... this being my starter for ten, hope you like!|
Kept the ISO reasonably high and opened up as much as my lens would allow to keep a nice high shutter speed to try freeze the wing movement... I was quite pleased with the result.
ps hope you're all well!

What a fabulous image! This one would have been on my wall had it been mine. Definitely worth more than two points. A great pleasure to view. Best wishes.

Beautiful image, lovely bird in flight, gorgeous. tfs.
This is a image bordering on the sublime for its sheer timing and composition. You have managed to merge the sharp image nicely into the BG. Look forward to your other captures.
sublime composition with the figure that, despite the clear colour, stands out well from the whitish BG.Colours are ok as well as the sharpness. It's a pity that the eyes are not well observable, but i think it was almost impossible doing better. This specimen has something of angelic.
