[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Green vegetable bug (Nezara viridula) Nymph found yesterday on my Purple Hazelnut shrub in the back garden.I think My ident is right but hope in some ways I am wrong have a look at this web site to see why http://www.rhs.org.uk/news/climatepests.asp
Why "Hanging Around for a Free Meal" well if you can see the spike/probocis which it is about to stick into the skin of this Hazel Nut. It does not have to suck to get fed, only stick its hollow straw like mouth into a vein of the plant and the sap is pumped in under pressure from the plant it's self as it move water and nutients from the roots up the stems and into the leaves.
I will post a full on top veiw into the Workshop to aid identiefication.
Taken in the Back garden using a tripod and my macro lens about 30cm away from the subject, and waiting for the gusts of wind we were getting because it was such a hot day , over 30C. a lot of the images were blurred because of this. I thought this one best showed all the parts of this insect.
Hope you Like.

A very interesting POV of this pretty bug, Rob.
Sharp details and perfect exposure. A great capture.
May I take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for all you that do for TN, on the occasion of its 2nd anniversary. It is an outstanding site in concept and in actuality, thanks to you and Adam. : )
